OVERVIEW
It’s a great time of year to escape, rejuvenate and refresh in the intoxicating British Virgin Islands. Experience the best of the BVI — both land and sea!  You’ll the trip aboard a 46-foot private, luxury sailing yacht. For five nights, enjoy gentle sailing from island to even more gorgeous island. Along the way you’ll snorkel crystal clear waters, kayak along stunning coastlines and enjoy scenic hikes with incredible views. Some days we’ll grill meals aboard our yacht, and other days enjoy local culinary delights — and even experience a local beachfront Full Moon Party complete with buffet and bonfire! Each day you’ll awaken to a new adventure aboard your floating hotel, ending with a relaxing stay in a roomy beachfront villa.

Sunday:  Arrive in Tortola, the largest and most populated of the British Virgin Islands. After a taxi transfer to Wickham’s Cay Marina, we’ll have group introductions, and a tour of the beautiful marina, pool, shops and restaurants. When our yacht is ready for boarding, you’ll have a chance to get settled in your cabin and freshen up for our arrival dinner together.

Monday:  You’ll have breakfast on your own this morning as we prepare the yacht for departure. Enjoy a pastry or full breakfast, followed by some shopping. You may want to pick up some snacks or sunscreen for our voyage!

After a short safety briefing, we’ll set sail! The first leg of our journey is a short one. We’ll arrive at The Indians, a famous and beautiful snorkeling spot, by noon and enjoy a refreshing swim with colorful fish scenic rugged rocks before sitting down to for lunch aboard our yacht.

After lunch we’ll head to Peter Island and anchor in a secluded area for a quiet night aboard. Enjoy a gorgeous sunset and beach stroll before dinner aboard our yacht.

Tuesday:  It’s a big day for our group today. After a hearty breakfast to power up, we’ll hoist sails and head for Trellis Bay. Here, you can enjoy delightful local shops ashore. If you choose, board a kayak for an adventure paddle to nearby Marina Caye. Explore the island, have lunch on your own and enjoy the sun and surf of this lovely area.

Back on board your yacht, relax with a hot shower for a lively evening ashore. It’s Full Moon Party night at Trellis Bay, complete with live reggae music, Caribbean buffet, Moko Jumbie dancers and spectacular beach Fireballs. It’s an experience not to be missed!

Wednesday:  You deserve to sleep in today! Enjoy breakfast on deck, or stay cozy in your cabin as we sail a short way to the southern tip of Guana Island. Here we’ll enjoy idyllic, relaxed snorkeling among colorful fish at Monkey Point. It’s a scenic spot, so we’ll stay for lunch before sailing on for the island of Jost Van Dyke.

At Diamond Cay, on Jost Van Dyke, we’ll hike a scenic trail to the famous Bubbly Pool for an invigorating swim in the swirling surf. Back at the yacht, we’ll move on to our next JVD destination—the stunning beaches at White Bay, often listed as one of the world’s most beautiful beaches. Enjoy dinner on deck with the backdrop of a spectacular sunset, followed by star-gazing to your heart’s content.

Thursday: Spend some time exploring the beach at White Bay this morning, or maybe a swim and snorkel. It’s the perfect location for some early beach yoga. After yoga explore the beach bars and shops. The locals are friendly, and the drinks frosty!

Join us back on board where we’ll have lunch waiting for you. After lunch, a short hop to the next harbor over. At Great Harbor, you’ll want to explore and relax along the quaint sandy road that follows the shoreline. We’ve arrived at the famous Foxy’s Bar. If we’re lucky, Foxy himself may serenade us with his delightful island lyrics!

A Caribbean BBQ buffet at Foxy’s will set us up for a lively evening with our new friends.

Friday: It’s time for a light breakfast, and packing our belongs. It’s difficult to say goodbye to our floating accommodations! Our captain will drop us at Soper’s Hole, a colorful, Caribbean-style area for shopping and exploring. Enjoy lunch on your own before departing for our beachfront villa.

After settling into our rooms, some rejuvenating and relaxing sunset yoga is in order. We will need some adjustment time to get our land-legs back! Back at the villa, your guides are preparing a beachfront feast!

Saturday: Enjoy some early morning beach yoga, followed a full breakfast at our resort restaurant. It’s time to see what Tortola from the land side! Board our open-air bus for an island tour including a local run distillery, and Sage Mountain National Park. Lunch on your own while exploring at Cane Garden Bay.

Enjoy sunset yoga on the beach and relax at our villa, before our farewell dinner tonight. The week has gone by so quickly!

Sunday: Following a full breakfast, it’s time for goodbyes all around and taxi departures to West End or Beef Island to make our flights home.

We will spend five nights aboard a private 46-foot catamaran sailing yacht. Cabins are shared, with a double bed —small, but comfortable! You will share a small bath with hot, enclosed shower with your roommate. Land accommodations are at a large private villa directly on the beach. Rooms are shared. Bathrooms are stocked with bath towels, hand towels and washcloths.

This trip is designed for moderately active women looking for a nice mix of activity and downtime for relaxing. There will be 3-4 hours of non-competitive kayaking, hiking or snorkeling on five of the days. No experience is required for these activity, but you will need to be able to enter and exit your kayak from shore (with instruction) and be a good swimmer for snorkeling. You will also be able to opt out of activities if you would like more time for relaxing in the sun.
