The Sol Sister Adventures Experience
At Sol Sister Adventures, our trips are designed to allow our guests to be involved and active participants. We would like you to have a full immersion experience, rather than a passive tour as an observer. Most importantly, we want your trip to be safe and FUN! If adventure trips are new to you, here are some things that can enhance the experience for both you and your fellow adventurers:

  • Adventure, by nature, brings unexpected twists. Stay flexible, keep a sense of humor and find joy the moments as they exist, not just as you imagined they would be.
  • Get the most from your group dynamic by being supportive and respectful of others. Being on time for scheduled activities is important and contributes greatly to the success of the trip.
  • Communicate with your guide. She is there to help you get the most from your adventure!

EARLY RESERVATIONS are advised and a minimum deposit of $500 (USD) is required at the time of your reservation. If you are making your reservation less than 90 days from departure, the entire amount of the the trip must be paid in full at the time of reservation.

Once you are registered, $350 of the registration deposit is non-refundable. Full payment for your trip is due 90 days prior to departure date. 

Cancellation and Refund Policies
Refund eligibility is based on days prior to departure date.

If you cancel a trip with a waiting list and we are able to fill your space, Sol Sister Adventures will transfer your trip fee (less $200 administrative charge) to another trip of your choice departing within the next 365 days.

Our cancellation charges are in place to cover expenses that have already been incurred by Sol Sister Adventures when a guest cancels. We understand that some cancellations are unavoidable due to injury, illness or other personal emergencies. We therefore strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance to cover any interruptions in your trip plans.

Sol Sister Adventures does not refund or reimburse expenses for any unused portion of a trip. This includes no shows, arriving late or leaving the trip early regardless of the reason. Notification of cancellations must be received in writing to qualify for a refund:

In the rare instance that Sol Sister Adventures must cancel a trip due to weather, unsafe conditions, low registrations or any other circumstance, all deposits and trip fees received to date will be refunded. Sol Sister Adventures is not responsible for any other expenses incurred by participants in preparation for the trip, including visa fees, equipment, air travel purchases, etc.

Travel Insurance
We highly recommend trip cancellation insurance to cover emergency trip interruptions. More information will be included with your trip registration information. We recommend contacting Travelex, a respected provider in the industry. Online quotes are available at

Smoking Policy
There is no smoking allowed in any indoor facility or sleeping accommodations of any kind on Sol Sister Adventures trips. Our priority is the comfort and enjoyment of all guests. You may smoke outdoors where permitted. Your Sol Sister guide has final discretion.
